Yoichi 10YO was elected 'Best of the Best' by Whisky Magazine in 2001, bringing international attention to Japan. In 2008 it was awarded "World's Best Whisky".
This elegant peaty single malt was matured in a mix of new locally assembled Oak Hogsheads as well as Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry Casks.
Nose: Rich vanilla, floral scents, caramel and fruity tones.
Palate: Velvety smooth, toffee, light peat, minty, spicy with notes of honey.
Finish: Well-balanced, creamy, bittersweet, peaty.
