Wine For Asia 2005

A fantastic show for all wine lovers! This show was much more organised, with 70% of the exhibitors a first-timer.
Wines from all over the world - USA, Chile, Argentina, India, China, France, Italy, Australia, South Africa, Austria, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, etc, were available for tasting.
Exhibitors from Australia, Italy and Argentina made a stronger presence this time. To make the show more interesting, there were seminars, wine tastings and also the Wine Style Award 2005, in which 350 labels were judged by local and international panels.
Of particular interest was the ESMo Molecule Burner which was claimed to able to smoothen liquor and increase its aroma. Another product for wines - Owine - was able to accelerate the ageing process within minutes, making wines softer whilst increasing the aroma.
New buzz words to look out for - Trio or Triple (blend of three different varietals) & Organically Growned wines!
