Asia Music People, the new team organizing Miss World Singapore will ensure a fair and honest selection to showcase the best of Singapore girls to the world. This year’s competition will be so different from previous events that Singaporeans will hardly recognise its sleek, professional format. It will be seamlessly orchestrated and beautifully staged from start to finish. Miss World Singapore 2013 has been designed to select a girl who will make every citizen proud to be Singaporean.
MWS will support Jamiyah Children’s Home as the beneficiary for this year’s pageant.

First runner-up Elizabeth Houghton, winner Maria-Anna Zenieris and Rachel Leng
Maria-Anna Zenieris was crowned Miss World Singapore 2013 at the pageant final at the Pan Pacific Hotel on Sunday. She will represent Singapore in the Miss World finals in Jakarta on 28 September.
The 18-year-old Singaporean, who is half-Chinese and half-Greek, topped the list of 15 pageant finalists during a three-hour gala final, which saw the contestants parade in swim and evening wear. The outspoken beauty, who recently graduated from United World College and is currently studying psychology and international relations.
The first runner-up, Elizabeth Houghton, also won the Grand Singapore title. She will represent Singapore in Miss Grand international pageant next May in Thailand.
Second runner-up went to 23-year-old university graduate, Rachel Leng, who also won Miss Beauty with a Purpose.
