Miss Singapore World 2012

Grand finale of MSW 2012 at the Orchid Country Club, on Wednesday night 27th June, 2012.

Karisa Sukamto will paint Singapore in Miss WOrld 2012 beauty pageant which is the 62nd edition of Miss World beauty contest and it will held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on 18th August, 2012.

Karisa Sukamto has been crowned Miss Singapore World 2012 by May Hsu (Miss Singapore world 2011) during the grand finale of MSW 2012 at the Orchid Country Club, on Wednesday night 27th June, 2012.

"I am thankful for this opportunity to represent Singapore in Miss World 2012, Inner Mongolia, Ordos. I have never seen this day coming and am truly blessed. I hope to be able to do my country proud and bring justice to my title. Born in Hawaii, I moved to Singapore as a baby and have grown up there since. I’m curious to learn all that life has to offer as I find my mark in this world. I enjoy dance, travelling, movies and tasty cuisine. Although I am no superwoman, I hope to raise morale, and bring smiles to those in need."

Karisa aspires to become a television presenter and says her proudest moment was becoming vice president of her student council at high school. Her interests include dance, travelling and trying out different restaurants. She likes dance, R'n'B and pop music.
