This Speyside malt is blended using the Solera method used in sherry production, helping to create a well-rounded and complex whisky. Lightly smoked chocolate dominates the nose. It has a textured palate rich with spiced pears and chocolate, and a warming spiced finish.

Created using a technique pioneered by the Malt Master and its warm, spicy flavours are transformed with the alchemy of the Solera Vat. The whiskey was aged in American bourbon barrels, Portuguese sherry barrels, and virgin oak barrels. Then the whiskey was married using the Solera method, which provides the whiskey with flavours of sweet sherry and a guaranteed and uniform quality in each and every bottle.
